What to Expect
First Visit
Embarking on the journey into a new doctor’s care requires trust. We understand and acknowledge the significance of this decision. Your initial visit is tailored to facilitate Dr. LeBlanc’s understanding of you, your condition, and your overall health objectives. We prioritize a patient-centered approach, striving to comprehend your specific needs and determine how our expertise aligns with your health goals. Your initial visit will be approximately 45 minutes. In addition to the paperwork you’ll be asked to fill out, a thorough clinical history, physical examination and explanation of findings will be administered on this day.
While X-Rays are not routine, they may be recommended if deemed necessary for a comprehensive understanding of your health.
Second Visit
During the second visit, Dr. LeBlanc will once again review diagnoses and examination findings with you and ask questions related to your response to treatment, if treatment was administered on your first visit.
During this, the “Acute Phase of Care”, clinic appointments are more frequent as adjustments are aimed at restoring spinal motion and reducing nerve interference. Home care corrective exercises are also prescribed to enhance soft tissue and movement quality. Our focus is on addressing dysfunction rather than solely alleviating pain, offering natural interventions such as Vibracussor, Rapid Release Therapy, Graston Technique and/or Active Release Technique to aid in recovery.
Wellness Visits
The goal of treatments at this office is to progress to “symptom-less/pain free” spinal check-ups with long-term patients valuing optimal spinal and nerve system function for their family’s health. The Pulstar System enables the detection of subluxations before symptoms manifest. While we advocate regular Chiropractic care for families to maintain optimal health, we respect individual preferences. If wellness patients experience new complaints or injuries, they may temporarily revert to Acute Care.
